Visibility on these evenings was incredibly low, the National Weather Service even issued an alert due to this unusually strong fog. These shots include S. Hillsborough St., The Wilmont, the Raleigh Apartments, and the Boylan Street Bridge, from which all the downtown buildings were completely invisible.

Visual Narrative: Skyline 2012

For the first couple of years at Goodnight Raleigh, we posted mostly photos without much history and information. The Visual Narrative is a new monthly series where we return to that original style by bringing you a variety of photos around a common theme, with a minimal amount of words.
