Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

Skateboarding on Fayetteville Street

One thing I’ve been somewhat surprised at with regard to activity in and around town is the lack of skateboarders. There are plenty of them out there, and the hub of the local online skateboarding community is run by someone local to Raleigh.

The skateboarders pictured are Quintin, John, and Austin.

It was only about 5 minutes before someone called the Raleigh Police Department to complain about the noise caused by the skateboarders at 8 PM on a Friday night.
