Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

Another New Muppet on Salisbury Street

For a couple of years now, I’ve followed the muppet in the storefront display of Teddy Wright’s Bail Bonds on Salisbury Street. A few days ago, I noticed that the jailed muppet now has company: a prison guard.

It was only a couple of months ago we saw the addition of two muppets (Statler and Waldorf) at King’s Barcade. In that article I asked who else was going to step up and add to the public display of muppets downtown. Although it’s not a new business or location, I was rather tickled to see the jailed muppet get a friend.
