The Little BB&T Building

This modest BB&T branch is located on the corner of Oberlin Road and Hillsborough Street. It was built in 1962 by the firm of F. Carter Williams. An effort was made to preserve the existing large trees as well as blend in with the residential nature of the area.

Who is your Favorite Bartender?

A native of the same small town I’m from, Jay Winfrey (of the Raleigh Times as well as Jackpot!) is by far my favorite bartender. The man knows his beer, knows his guests, and never leaves you sitting with an empty glass. He’s passionate about what he does and it shows.
