Cooler Scooters Arrive at Scooterz Inc.

A few days ago I was intrigued when strolling by Scooterz Inc. on Hillsborough Street and noticed Ryan (above) tooling around the parking lot in this unique combination of cold beverage container and electric transportation device. He mentioned that they just received the one in the photo above.

The first thought that comes to my mind is a perfect mode of transportation for tailgating. What other uses can you think of for an electric scooter/beer cooler?

My good friend had an elaborate plan involving this scooter…he wanted to unveil it to his friends and neighbors by inviting them all over to the house, assembling them in front of his garage, then opening the automatic garage door and driving out on the cooler-scooter with some kind of triumphant music blasting. Apparently, you can also get a trailer attachment…in which, my friend devised, would be perfect for his young son to ride along.

I’ve seen one before at an NCSU football. The one I saw had the trailer attachment.
