Back in February this year Raleigh’s historic Crabtree Jones House was successfully moved to its new site by Preservation NC. This architectural treasure now needs to be prepped for a grand open house later this month. You can help us ‘get our house in order’ by attending the Crabtree Jones House Clean-Up from 9 am until 12 noon this Saturday, May 10, 2014.

Help us clean up the Crabtree Jones House!

SWAT

At Preservation NC, “SWAT” stands for “Saving Worn-out Architectural Treasures,” and we plan to hold a SWAT Day at the Crabtree Jones House in Raleigh this Saturday, May 10, from 9am-12noon.

We’ll rake, we’ll sweep, we’ll pick up trash and more, all to get this architectural treasure Open House ready! Can you join us this Saturday? We’d love to have you! If you’re able to lend a hand, please email Lauren Werner at lwerner@presnc.org to find out additional details (like what to bring, where to meet, etc.) or call us at 919-832-3652 x238.

Be sure to join us for a grand Open House at Crabtree Jones on Saturday, May 31, 2014, 10 am-4 pm.

The Crabtree Jones House is on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been designated a Raleigh Historic Landmark.
