Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

‘Geometry in the Urban Space’ at the Downtown Express Library

For the next month I’ll have several mounted photographs on display at the Downtown Express Library, located on the first floor of the art deco “Superman Building” on Fayetteville Street.

On display will be a few photos you may have seen on the blog, but most haven’t been published here. There are many from Raleigh, but the exhibit will also feature photos from New York, Detroit, London, and Asheville as well. Most are centered around the geometric forms in architecture – both the thriving and in decline.

The Express Library just recently reopened after renovations, and will feature a different local artist each month. The opening reception is October 1st from 4-7.
