Downtown, Looking East

Downtown Raleigh looking east as small, dark clouds foreshadow a wet evening.

Nice shot! I like the lighting a lot.

I have often wondered about the building right in the center, with the one lone balcony on the top floor, with no apparent way to access it.

I’m still trying to find out what the penthouse on top of the Wake County/Durham Life building is or was used for. I keep having images of the Ghostbusters attacking the Temple of Gozer while the Stay-Puft Marshamallow Man is stomping down Fayetteville Street. Hey, a boy can dream!!

Peace
