Pineview Style – After this comment and the one on the classic limousine, I am rapidly learning if I ever have a question about antique/classic cars, you are the one to turn to!
Thanks for writing.

The Desoto… may be circa 1953. The Chevy… mid 40’s possibly ’46. While I was attending Hugh Morson Jr High, my grandfather had a Pontiac that could have been that car’s twin… lol… WHAT A RIDE… like floating on air. After WWII ended the restrictions on metal usage were lessened… out came the chrome. There was very little change in body styles during the “war years”, across the line at GM because retooling required a lot of metal which was better used towards the war effort.

The black one in the rear is a DeSoto. The one in the front is a Chevrolet. Gotcha covered!
