Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

Raleigh Skyline From The Boylan Ave Bridge

It’s easy to see why this is one of the most popular spots in Raleigh to take pictures from. The streaks in the first photo were caused by the crane being in motion.

I love the layout of your blog. The changes look great. Very clean and easy to read. The black background also makes the photos pop!

I thought I was seeing things when I looked at the first and last of these. I just took these same two shots last Friday night (12/5/08). Or very nearly the same shot at least. From almost exactly the same place in any event. But it looks like you might have been up in the deck at the Hargett St end of the bridge, and I was on the bridge itself. The biggest difference is I have the finished version of the RBC tower.
