The area on South McDowell Street where King’s Barcade used to be. Not sure what the construction project going on now is.

Great photo! The Left half of the picture is used for the Convention Center and will be their addition in the future. The site on the right of the small buildings (which used to be Poole’s is going to be The L Building). See the post about the L on New Raleigh:
