Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

John Morris – Nanopublisher

“I first started taking photos of Raleigh at night seven years ago, when I moved here from Asheville. I was initially disappointed at the apparent lack of a thriving downtown scene here. The years went by and I found myself there more and more at night, taking more photos along the way. In the summer of 2007, I decided to start a blog to show what Raleigh was transforming into.”

I enjoy looking at this site and reading about the subject in your pics. I was wondering if you could tell me what type of camera you use to capture such great images at night?

What a fabulous photo of Small Paul at The Mecca! Thank you so much! Not shockingly, I lost your email address within hours, but here is mine. Would you be able to send me a copy of the pic?

Thank you again for a wonderful memory,
