Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

PBRs and Conan at the PR

Tuesday saw a large gathering of Conan fans at The Players Retreat. I haven’t been keeping up with all of the latest news about the late night lineup switching, but I do know that Conan O’Brien is the only late night host that I find to be funny. Nearly every TV in the place was tuned to NBC to catch his show.

What made the night more interesting though, is that there was another like-minded Conan fan buying everyone rounds of PBR that was in attendance. It’s normal to see crowds of people gathered around televisions cheering or booing for sporting events, but to see the same in reaction to a comedian was quite a different experience.
