Chances are you’re familiar with the likes of the Barrel Monster. From worldwide counterculture icon to humble icon at a local arts festival, the “Barrel Monster” has most recently established itself as a permanent fixture on Hillsborough Street, but now has a lady friend at his side.

The most recent creation by Joe Carnevale is of a couple overlooking the ongoing construction from Hillsborough Street toward D.H. Hill library.
