Goodnight Raleigh - a look at the art, architecture, history, and people of the city at night

The Haunted Mansion on the Hill

Despite what nearby residents and many in the architectural community may say about this structure, I think Bloomsbury Estates is both beautiful and a great addition to Raleigh.

It is by no means perfect–the turret is oversized and the windows undersized–but I believe it to be far more appealing than most of the other high-density living structures that have been recently appearing.

I’ve never wanted to live in a condo (prefer a backyard and ground-level living), but if there was one in which I would, Bloomsbury Estates would be my first choice.
