It looks like a used car lot that stood on New Bern Avenue near The Carolina Moon, but it was torn down some time ago. It’s one of those familiar looking free standing brick buildings that popped up along the outskirts of town. Pioneer Awning Company sold a lot of those aluminum carports that’s for sure.

That looks like the hotel on the right going out of town on Wilmington. About 6 years ago good friend of mine lived there with her guy; she sometimes cooked a meal at our house and then I drove her back to their little room. How exciting to see a post from our neighborhood!
