I agree with Chris - I learn something new each time I visit this site, and my love for Raleigh grows. Cheers!

Look forward to another year of learning more about the city I've lived in my whole life. Every time I come to this site, I learn something new, and sometimes it's things I see every day and never paid much attention to but see in a different light now that I know a bit more about their history. Thanks for the great stories and photos!!

Ian - thanks. You're a good friend and likely the most gifted photographer in Raleigh. I'm grateful for you contributing to the site.

Lupus - That really means a lot, and made my day on the last day of 2009. Thanks again for being a part of our community. One day I'll catch you on the rave bike. And maybe, I just may get a photo.

Cheers.

Out of my 1000+ daily RSS feeds, I have a special place just for Goodnight Raleigh!, in the number one spot, upper lefthand corner, all by itself, on my iGoogle page.

The mornings, after ya'll break ground on new posts, makes for a much better start to the toils of the corporate Cube Farm that day.

I spend a few extra minutes downing my coffee, reading up the late night spelunking, and charge happily into my mandatory 8 hours of harvesting light pixels for the man.

Thanks for a great year of community. I feel like I have finally found my home in the world.

And it looks like I have a new Indian restaurant to track down on my late night bike rides.
