I remember reading LBC in the news and observer last week, great review! This place is really amazing. They've recently started these potatoe or chicken-stuffed breads that are hand made, and I love them! I think they have picked up from when they opened. Sucks that the construction is making a mess around that place, but it doesn't stop people to still come to this place and is definitely worth it!

Finally made it to this place tonight for dinner. We had the chicken biryani, lamb curry, and a sample of another chicken dish that they threw in for free. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. I'll be back, soon.

Like John, I've been recommending LBC to all my friends as among the best Southeast Asian food I've had in Raleigh. They've only had one or two misses - ever - in my book, and that's after sampling most of their menu, repeatedly. Whenever the wife and I need cheering up or a great meal and don't have the the time to cook, we're placing a call to LBC. Egglplant dish (yum). Goat biryani (double yum). One caveat: this is really a great place if you like spicy food. If you tend to favor milder flavors, then the offerings will be a bit slimmer. On the other hand, their Mango lassi makes everything better, even and especially a mouth full of fire.

We went to eat here last week after reading this article. While I think the food was reasonably good; especially for the price - it was certainly far from the best offerings available in the Triangle. We found the staff to be friendly and I also noticed they say their menu is all halal. I would definitely go back but its not quite as great as this article says it is.

Okay, I'm bookmarking this link for future reference! I LOVE Indian food, but most of the places I've tried around here have one thing in common: I always leave hungry. And for what I'm spending, I don't think I should leave hungry.

I will most definitely put this on my list of places to check out as soon as possible!
