I do have a couple shots of the control shack from 1970. One shows a freight passing by it. Soon I will be posting a story on hopping switch yard trains at the Boylan wye during the same period as this story, and will post the pics then. I also have one of the prison closer up than the one here. I used this one because that was the view from the bridge when I drove over it with Leroy. And well told. I felt as if I were at the coal yard myself! A while back, I worked a few summers at a paper mill while in college emptying coal cars to heat the boilers. Definately a good exprience.
