The Emerald Jewel of Raleigh

It’s incredibly easy to overlook as a Raleigh resident, but the Greek Revival style State Capitol is one of the most remarkable gems of North Carolina architecture.

Last Thursday was the North Carolina State Bar Association’s 75th anniversary and I got this photo as the lawyers were streaming in to the Convention Center.
